If you are a loving parent or caregiver of young children who ...

FEELS

...like there isn't much play happening in your home

...that the play space in your home isn't serving your family

...like your home is cluttered, unorganized or dysfunctional, causing you stress or anxiety

WANTS

...space for your children to play independently and purposefully

...an aesthetically pleasing play space

...to get rid of toy clutter

...manageable storage and clean-up solutions

...tips for daily rhythms & rituals that allow for independent play time for hours each day...

...then you are right where you need to be.

As parents, we all want our children to play independently (i.e. play by themselves) because frankly, it gives us a breather.

But did you know that PLAY is the absolute best way to support your child's overall growth and development?

Independent Play is a win-win for the whole family.

"But, how do I get my kids to play independently at home?", you ask.

Well, I'm here to tell you that it's not as hard as you think!

By setting up your home in such a way that it supports play by DECLUTTERING, ORGANIZING & DESIGNING

Start making changes to support Independent Play

Declutter

Less toys = More play.

Yep, you read that right.

The first step in our unique framework is decluttering toys.

We will talk you through the process and teach you WHY it's so important to get rid of toy clutter.

We will help you understand why quality, open-ended toys are best for supporting independent play.

Design

The physical environment and how it's designed have a profound impact on independent play.

In this course, you'll choose paint colors, furniture and storage solutions.

You'll learn about textures, lighting and sounds.

You'll be left with the right combination of environmental stimuli to support and encourage independent play.

Rhythms & Rituals

Plain and simple, if you have rituals and rhythms in your days that allow for the time, space and freedom needed in order for your children to play independently, then it becomes second nature to them.

In IPAH, you'll create these rhythms and rituals and prioritize independent play time, while still incorporating all of your other priorities and to-dos.

Maintenance

Once you've created an aesthetically pleasing, organized, clutter-free play space in your home, we want you to maintain it.

You'll organize things into Play Zones so that maintenance is easier than ever before..

I'm Ready to make lasting changes!

Hi!

I'm Amanda.

I'm a homeschooling mama of three with a Master's Degree in early childhood education. I am easily triggered by clutter while simultaneously being an advocate for playing at home. I'm a mama who loves being with my kids, but also needs regular breaks from being "on". I also really dislike "playing" with my kids.

Which is why I created this course--so that your children can play independently and purposefully at home, and you can get the moments you need for YOU. You can read more about my story by clicking below. Thanks for being here!

Module 3 is all about colors, lights and sounds. In this module, you'll learn about how all of these stimuli act as part of the sensory experience for children. I also share my recommended paint colors for play spaces, give lighting suggestions, and discuss the difference between external noise, and noise made by playing.

4.png

Module 4 is all about how to incorporate textures (rug and plants to name a few) into your play space and why they are important. You'll also learn about furniture (child-sized and not) and how to use it as a tool for independent play!

Module 5: Play Zones

What are play zones? Where should they go? What should you put in them? Are they ALL equally important? We'll answer these questions and more in this important module.

7.png

In Module 7, you will learn all about my recommendations for storying and rotation toys. I will share also my favorite products for storing and displaying toys! All in the name of supporting Independent Play.

Rhythms and rituals are important for prioritizing tasks and as part of your family's daily life. This module teaches you how to create rhythms and rituals that make time and space for independent play, by breaking the day up into blocks of time and distributing your want-tos and have-tos.

Still Thinking About It?

From one mama to another, let me just give it to you straight.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO ENTERTAIN YOUR CHILDREN WITHIN THE WALLS OF YOUR HOME.

And you don't need a perfectly staged playroom with tons of wooden Montessori toys in order for your children to PLAY purposefully.

I know society is telling you otherwise.

But they are wrong.

Children are born with an innate ability to play independently at home.

All we have to do is give them the space, time and freedom to do so.

Several years ago, with a master's degree in early childhood and over a decade worth of experience teaching preschool under my belt,  I STILL BELIEVED I had to entertain my children when we were home.

As a result, I became an anxious, resentful mother.

I knew something had to change. So I put my experience and education into practice in a way that worked in our home and for our family.

I began using the physical environment in our home as a tool to support my kids in playing independently. I decluttered our toys and kept the right ones--toys that are open-ended and high quality. I set up rhythms and rituals in our day that made time and space for my kids to play independently. And I was consistent.

I will help you do the same.

You'll get everything you need here to be able to support your child in their independent play at home and to start making sustainable changes immediately.

And I'll be with you every step of the way.

What do you say?
